Itinerary Outline
- Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport → Transfer to Arusha
- Day 2: Drive to Serengeti National Park – Afternoon Game Drive
- Day 3: Full Day Serengeti National Park Game Drive
- Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Tour → Proceed to Karatu
- Day 5: Drive to Arusha Airport → Flight to Zanzibar
- Day 6: Zanzibar – Day at Leisure
- Day 7: Transfer to Zanzibar Airport for Departure
Itinerary Details
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport → Transfer to Arusha
- Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
- Meet & greet by our representative holding a personalized signboard
- Private transfer to Arusha Serena Hotel (Website) or a similar hotel for dinner and overnight stay
Day 2: Drive to Serengeti National Park
- Early breakfast at the hotel
- Drive to Serengeti National Park with a packed picnic lunch
- Lunch break at the Serengeti entrance gate
- Afternoon game drive en route to Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge (Website) or similar
- Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge
Day 3: Full-Day Serengeti National Park
- Full-day game drive in the Central Serengeti
- Packed lunch at the park’s picnic site
- Explore the vast grassy plains, spotting lions, leopards, cheetahs, wildebeest, and zebras
- Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge
Note: The central Serengeti is known for its scenic beauty, rolling savannahs, and the famous kopjes that offer stunning views and shelter for wildlife.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Tour → Proceed to Karatu
- Early breakfast at the lodge
- Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
- Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day tour with packed lunch
- Lunch break at the crater’s picnic site
- Afternoon game drive, then ascend and proceed to Acacia Farm Lodge (Website) in Karatu for dinner and overnight stay
Ngorongoro Crater: A UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to an array of wildlife such as lions, elephants, hippos, and over 500 bird species, surrounded by dramatic landscapes
Day 5: Drive to Arusha Airport → Flight to Zanzibar
- Breakfast at the lodge
- Drive to Arusha Airport with packed lunch for your flight to Zanzibar
- Flight details:
- Departure: 13:00 hrs
- Arrival: 14:15 hrs at Zanzibar Airport
- Meet & greet at Zanzibar Airport
- Transfer to Zanzibar Serena Hotel (Website) or similar for dinner and overnight stay
Day 6: Day at Leisure in Zanzibar
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Enjoy a relaxing beach day or optional water activities
- Lunch and dinner at Zanzibar Serena Hotel
Day 7: Transfer to Zanzibar Airport for Departure
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Check-out and transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your flight back home
