Arusha to Meru Camp then back to Arusha
Morning departure to Meru Camp, spend a whole day in some activities, later drive back to Arusha
Morning Departure: – Visit to Meru Camp (Olgilai Village, Arusha)
- Location: Nestled in the lush green highlands of Olgilai Village, just outside Arusha town, Meru Camp is ideally located near the foothills of Mount Meru and adjacent to Napuru Waterfalls, a hidden natural gem in the area.
- Activities at Meru Camp:
- Guided Nature Walks: Explore local trails through banana plantations, forest paths, and volcanic terrain. Local guides often share stories about flora, fauna, and village life.
- Napuru Waterfalls Visit: A short scenic hike (approx. 30–40 minutes) from the camp leads you to this beautiful waterfall surrounded by rainforest vegetation—ideal for photos and a refreshing break.
- Cultural Interaction: Learn about the locals’ lifestyle.
- Local Snacks/Tea: Some camps in this area offer homegrown coffee or herbal tea as part of the experience.
- Atmosphere: Peaceful, immersive, and rich with local culture. You’ll enjoy cooler mountain air and views of Arusha town and Mount Meru.
